Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Podcast Videographer \& Video Editor to join our team and bring our audio content to life visually. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft engaging video content that complements our podcast series, enhances storytelling, and captivates audiences across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, skilled in video production and editing, and proficient with a wide range of media editing tools. You will play a vital role in transforming raw footage into compelling visual narratives that resonate with viewers and elevate our brand presence.
Responsibilities
- Film high-quality footage for podcast recordings, interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and promotional videos using professional videography techniques.
- Edit raw video footage to produce polished episodes, highlight reels, and social media clips that align with brand standards.
- Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
- Manage post-production processes including color correction, color grading, audio synchronization, sound editing, and visual enhancements.
- Collaborate with hosts, producers, and content creators to develop creative concepts and ensure videos meet project goals.
- Maintain organized media libraries using media management systems and ensure timely delivery of final products.
- Set up lighting for video shoots to optimize image quality and ensure professional production standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Bridge, InDesign, and Capture One.
- Strong videography skills with experience in filming using professional cameras and lighting equipment.
- Expertise in video storytelling techniques with an emphasis on engaging visual narratives.
- Knowledge of audio and video processing tools to ensure high-quality sound and picture output.
- Ability to create motion graphics and 2D animations using software like Maya or After Effects for dynamic visual effects.
- Skilled in color correction editing, post-production workflows, and media editing tools such as Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer.
- Experience with content creation for various platforms including social media channels and content management systems.
- Technical proficiency in photo editing, photo manipulation, typography, and lighting for video production.
- Familiarity with FTP protocols for file transfer and efficient media management workflows.
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
