Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. This role involves installing boiler and hydronic piping systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with construction and blueprint reading, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and piping systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repairs
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools safely and effectively
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for installation or repair projects
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify issues with piping systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements
  • Collaborate with team members to assemble piping components and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Assist in the fabrication of pipe assemblies using welding techniques when required
  • Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a plumber or pipefitter in commercial or industrial settings
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, and construction
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics accurately
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, assembly, welding, and schematics understanding is preferred
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in confined or elevated spaces
  • Valid driver’s license for commercial driving if required for specific projects
  • Prior experience in construction environments is advantageous

Pay: $24.21-$45.00 per hour
