Plant Supervisor (CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY) - Work from Office

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing machinery plantation.

The Plant Supervisor’s responsibilities include ensuring smooth production processes, improving operational efficiency, and co-ordination with on-site workers.

Ultimately, the Plant Supervisor’s role is to guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by managing workforce, monitoring machinery plantation standards, and implementing quality control programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate (both remote and on-site) the activities of operating workers.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Conduct employee performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assess equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance or repair activities as necessary.
• Monitor machinery and spare parts inventory levels and order materials as needed.
• Implement cost-saving strategies and techniques.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Ensure all legal requirements, company safety procedures, and local and state health and safety regulations are met.
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related course are favorable.
• Additional certifications in plant operations management for machinery are an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, plant operations, or machinery supervision.
• Knowledge of production planning and scheduling, inventory management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to analyze operational reports and production data.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
