Seasonal Part-Time Photography Assistant

MVP Team Photos is a locally owned youth sports photography company serving youth sports organizations throughout Edmonton and surrounding area. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable seasonal part-time staff to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, especially children, and likes a fast-paced, active work environment.

This is a seasonal position runs approximately 2-3 months.

Our photo days are typically scheduled weekday evenings and during the day on weekends, with hours varying depending on our photography schedule. Some flexibility in your availability is required.

Responsibilities

As a Photography Assistant, you will help ensure photo days run smoothly and efficiently. Duties include:

• Helping pose players for individual and team photographs
• Keeping photo day moving on schedule and helping manage the flow of players
• Double-checking team lists
• Communicating with coaches, parents, and players in a friendly and professional manner
• Working with children of various ages
• Helping set up, organize, and pack photography equipment
• Assisting the photographer with various tasks throughout the photo day
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude, even during busy photo sessions

• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stay organized while managing multiple tasks
• Professional and comfortable interacting with parents, coaches, and players
• A team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed
• Available for weekday evenings and weekend shifts during the season

Previous customer service experience is an asset. 1–2 years of customer service experience is preferred.
