Essential Media is a fast-growing real estate media company specializing in high-end property marketing for Realtors, builders, and businesses across the Kamloops area.

We are looking for a motivated, creative, and reliable Photographer / Videographer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced work, has a strong eye for detail, and wants to grow within a modern media company.

You’ll be responsible for capturing real estate photo, video, and floor plan content while helping maintain the high-quality brand presence Essential Media is known for.

Responsibilities

• Capture professional real estate photography and video content
• Operate cameras, gimbals, drones, and related equipment
• Shoot interior, exterior, and aerial content for residential properties
• Maintain consistent shooting quality and branding standards
• Organize and upload files efficiently after shoots
• Communicate professionally with Realtors and homeowners on-site
• Work independently while managing schedules and timelines

Requirements

• Some experience with photography and videography
• Comfortable using Canon/Sony cameras or similar systems
• Experience flying drones is an asset (Basic or Advanced Transport Canada license preferred but not required)
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and camera settings
• Must hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License with reliable transportation
• Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection
• Must have access to a capable computer/laptop for file management and workflow tasks
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel locally
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Must be dependable, professional, and detail-oriented

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Real estate media experience
• Video editing experience (Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve)
• Lightroom or Photoshop experience
• Social media content creation
• Ability to read and understand residential floor plans and layouts
• Matterport or 3D tour experience

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
