Job Description

Permanent role after 3-month probation period.

Cooksmill is a rapidly growing business selling catering equipment mainly to a B2B customer base but also to B2C customers.

We’re looking for a talented and creative Photographer and Videographer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for capturing high-quality photo and video content that tells compelling visual stories, supports our brand, and resonates with our audience across all our digital channels. From shooting and editing promotional videos to taking product shots, you’ll be involved at every stage of the creative process.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 9-5, with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break, based in our warehouse on Leeds Road, Bradford, BD3.

Please note this is an onsite role due to secure network.

Duties Include

  • Take pictures of new Cooksmill products.
  • Edit the images to have a plain white background
  • Create lifestyle images of Cooksmill products
  • Plan, storyboard, shoot and edit engaging content for a variety of uses.
  • Assist in developing creative ideas for video content.
  • Operate and maintain video equipment and lighting.
  • Plan and organise shooting schedules, locations, and equipment requirements.
  • Work closely with the marketing team, content creators, and other relevant departments to align video content with overall brand messaging and strategy.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, video production techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance the quality and creativity of video content.

Must be a team player and be happy to answer the phone and intercom.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience as a Photographer, Videographer or similar role.
  • Experience in food or product photography would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience with YouTube and social media.
  • Proficient in photo and video editing software.
  • Knowledge of various video production equipment and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and audio principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to turn concepts into visually appealing content.
  • Portfolio or reel demonstrating previous work in videography.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
