Phlebotomist/Health Care Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will support patient care, assist healthcare professionals, and contribute to a safe and efficient clinical environment. Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care activities, including monitoring vital signs and providing basic support under supervision
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness for patient appointments
• Support laboratory procedures such as specimen collection and processing when necessary
• Assist with phlebotomy procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and procedures using appropriate medical terminology
• Help coordinate patient flow within the facility to ensure timely service delivery
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a sterile environment
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records as needed

Requirements

• Prior laboratory experience is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of patient care practices and medical terminology
• Ability to perform phlebotomy with skill and compassion
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Certification or training in basic life support (BLS) is a plus but not mandatory
• Commitment to providing compassionate, respectful, and professional patient care

Pay: $17.90-$28.00 per hour
