Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, including staffing, inventory control, and workflow optimisation.
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff to ensure high standards of patient care and medication safety.
• Oversee medication dispensing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise medication therapy management and patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including licensing requirements and health \& safety policies.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve pharmacy services and operational efficiency.
• Monitor stock levels, order supplies as needed, and manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Provide training and professional development opportunities for pharmacy staff to foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a pharmacy setting..
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
• Relevant pharmacy qualification recognised by the appropriate regulatory body.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
