Pharmacy Dispenser, Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) or Dispenser (ACD)

We are currently looking for a Dispensing Assistant, Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) or Accuracy Checking Dispenser (ACD) dedicated to excellent patient care to join our team at Pleasley Pharmacy.

The package:

• Full time position
• Pension Scheme
• Hourly Rate up to £14.00 / hour
• 20 Days Annual Leave, plus government and public holidays

The Opportunity

This is a fast-paced environment in which you will be a core member of the pharmacy and healthcare team, therefore, the ideal candidate will have experience within a busy community pharmacy environment with high volume dispensing and be willing to learn and exhibit excellent team-working skills.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Accuracy checking dispensed medicines
• Helping the team with the smooth running of the dispensary
• dispensing medication effectively and safely
• managing stock levels and minimising losses
• assist with counter sales
• working with the pharmacist to deliver services and achieve company targets
• dealing with queries from patients and GP surgeries

As every day is different, this is not an exhaustive list but we are looking for an individual who is willing to embrace that challenge and grow with the pharmacy team.

Experience you’ll need to have:

It is essential that you have completed your Dispenser, ACT or ACD qualification.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent (32 -40hrs)

Salary: up to £14.00 /hour
