Position Overview
We are seeking entry-level candidates who are passionate about helping others and committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience. As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will support daily pharmacy operations, assist patients, and learn the skills needed to grow into a Pharmacy Technician role.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and provide friendly, professional customer service
- Answer phones and assist customers at the counter
- Receive and enter prescription information accurately
- Process prescriptions electronically under pharmacist supervision
- Assist with insurance processing and help resolve basic claim issues
- Sort, stock, and label medications and supplies
- Maintain inventory and keep work areas clean and organized
- Assist with administrative tasks and record-keeping
- Support monthly medication packaging and preparation as needed
- Respond to patient and provider questions and refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant pharmacy environment
- Promote a positive patient experience and encourage feedback
- Deliver and dispatch medications to patients, as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and interact professionally with patients and staff
- Willingness to learn pharmacy procedures, medical terminology, and pharmaceutical calculations (training provided)
- Previous customer service, retail, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
- Interest in obtaining Pharmacy Technician registration/certification (company-supported training opportunities may be available)
