Position Overview
We are seeking entry-level candidates who are passionate about helping others and committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience. As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will support daily pharmacy operations, assist patients, and learn the skills needed to grow into a Pharmacy Technician role.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide friendly, professional customer service
• Answer phones and assist customers at the counter
• Receive and enter prescription information accurately
• Process prescriptions electronically under pharmacist supervision
• Assist with insurance processing and help resolve basic claim issues
• Sort, stock, and label medications and supplies
• Maintain inventory and keep work areas clean and organized
• Assist with administrative tasks and record-keeping
• Support monthly medication packaging and preparation as needed
• Respond to patient and provider questions and refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant pharmacy environment
• Promote a positive patient experience and encourage feedback
• Deliver and dispatch medications to patients, as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong basic math and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and interact professionally with patients and staff
• Willingness to learn pharmacy procedures, medical terminology, and pharmaceutical calculations (training provided)
• Previous customer service, retail, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
• Interest in obtaining Pharmacy Technician registration/certification (company-supported training opportunities may be available)

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

• PioneerRX: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 5 years (Required)
