The mandatory requirements for this role include:

Completion of an approved Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (HLT37115) or higher/equivalent certificate relevant to hospital pharmacy including the 'Maintain Pharmaceutical Imprest Stock' Module (HTLPA001).

Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (SIR30116) or higher/equivalent certificate plus 'Maintain Pharmaceutical Imprest Stock' Module (HTLPA001).

Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16

What we're looking for

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

Demonstrated ability to be an active member of a pharmacy team, willingness, and ability to work under the direction of a registered pharmacist and to carry out duties with initiative and responsibility.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with high level communication

Knowledge of the PBS, SAS, LAM, iPharmacy and eLMs would be highly

Demonstrate ability to interpret prescriptions, understand relevant abbreviations and awareness of current legislation to facilitate the dispensing process.

Understanding of ward stock systems, stock control and expiry date monitoring in hospital pharmacy department
