Pharmacy Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a hospital setting or as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable.

Duties

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Manage inventory by ordering, restocking, and maintaining medication supplies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing their needs.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols related to medication handling.
• Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.
• Support the pharmacy team in various administrative tasks as needed.

Skills

• Previous pharmacy technician experience is advantageous for performing technical tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in patient care practices to ensure safe and effective medication administration.
