Pharmacy Assistant (Part-time leading to Full-time)
We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant who enjoys working in a collaborative environment within a close-knit community.

Position Overview
The Pharmacy Assistant will support daily dispensary operations while helping deliver exceptional customer service and patient care. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and take pride in accuracy, organization, and patient interaction.
This position is initially part-time with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role as the pharmacy continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Patient prescription order entry
- Third-party adjudication
- Drug packaging and product preparation
- Drug inventory maintenance and control
- Front shop medication and product inventory maintenance
- Assisting with workflow efficiency within a paperless pharmacy environment
- Providing professional and compassionate customer service
- Supporting pharmacists and healthcare team members in daily operations
Qualifications
- Experience working in a community pharmacy environment preferred
- Pharmacy Assistant students and recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy skills
- Customer service focused with a compassionate and professional attitude
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Comfortable learning and working with technology and paperless systems
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Schedule
- Part-time
- Day shifts
- Weekends as needed
Work Location
- Located just 10 minutes from Belle River, Essex , Cottam and Kingsville and approximately 20 minutes from Windsor and Tecumseh, our pharmacy offers an opportunity to practice in a growing, community-focused healthcare environment.
Pay: $18.50-$23.00 per hour
