Job Description

We are seeking a Pharmacist to assist with daily operations, support our team, and uphold the highest standards of patient care and professional practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight and ensure safe, appropriate, and patient-centered care
  • Maintain compliance with ACP Standards of Practice and regulatory requirements
  • Support pharmacy staff, including workflow direction and prioritization
  • Oversee prescription processing, verification, and clinical documentation standards
  • Ensure effective and efficient pharmacy workflow (Kroll experience considered an asset)
  • Support and maintain services including: Community dispensing, Supportive living/facility care, Immunizations and clinical services
  • Lead quality assurance and continuous quality improvement (CQI+) activities
  • Foster a professional, respectful, and accountable workplace culture

Professional Requirements:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
  • Additional Prescribing Authorization Mandatory
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient care
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • High level of accountability, organization, and decision-making ability
  • Comfort working in a complex, high-responsibility environment
  • Experience with supportive living or facility care is an asset
