Responsibilities
- Ensuring patients receive the correct medication, dosage, and instructions.
- Educating patients on how to take their medications, potential side effects, and interactions with other drugs.
- Conducting screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and other conditions.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Providers: Working with doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Overseeing daily operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and workflow optimization.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including proper handling and storage of medications.
- Implementing health and safety protocols, including proper disposal of pharmaceutical waste and adherence to hygiene standards
- Recruiting, training, and supervising pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and support personnel.
- Conducting performance evaluations and fostering professional development.
- Implementing strategies to control costs, increase revenue, and optimize the pharmacy’s financial health.
- Ensuring excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns, resolving complaints, and maintaining high standards of care.
- Developing and executing business strategies to grow the pharmacy’s market share and enhance its service offerings.
Requirements:
- Registered with Malaysia Board of Pharmacy
- Able to apply Poison A License
- Friendly and good communication skills
