About the Role:
I am looking for a creative and versatile content creator to help build my personal brand, produce social media content, and prepare professional materials for acting, film, television and modelling opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Film and edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social media content.
2. Take professional portraits, headshots, lifestyle and modelling photographs.
3. Direct and film short videos, scripted scenes and personal introductions.
4. Record and edit acting auditions, self-tapes, monologues and showreels.
5. Assist with modelling portfolios and casting submission materials.
6. Manage lighting, audio, camera setup, photo retouching and video editing.
7. Suggest creative concepts and improve on-camera presentation.
Requirements:
1. Practical experience in photography, videography and video editing.
2. Knowledge of acting auditions, showreels and modelling portfolios is highly preferred.
3. Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or equivalent software.
4. Strong communication, creativity and reliability.
5. Weekend availability is highly required, along with flexibility for occasional weekday assignments.
Mandatory equipment: Applicants must have their own professional-quality camera, lenses, tripod or gimbal, lighting equipment, external microphones, computer and editing software. They must be able to manage shoots and editing independently.
Work Arrangement:
1. Casual, on-call assignments with flexible scheduling.
2. No guaranteed minimum weekly hours.
3. Shoot dates, deliverables and locations will be agreed upon in advance.
4. Work may take place indoors, outdoors or at other agreed locations in Ottawa and surrounding areas.
