We are looking for a Payroll \& Benefits Manager to join our team at One Park Lane and play a key role in delivering an effective, compliant, and people-focused payroll and benefits service across the UK and Ireland. Position Summary: As Payroll \& Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for leading the UK payroll function and supporting the administration of employee expenses through the Concur system across the UK and Ireland. Working closely with colleagues across Finance, HR, and Operations, you will help ensure payroll processes are accurate, compliant, and efficient while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and future projects. This role also includes supporting the development of the payroll team and maintaining strong partnerships with external system providers. Why This Role? What You'll Do:* Lead and support the day-to-day delivery of payroll services across multiple payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience. * Work closely with HR, Finance, and Operations teams to provide payroll insights, reporting, and support for business projects and process improvements. * Oversee the administration of the Concur expense system and help ensure compliance with relevant HMRC requirements. * Build and maintain effective working relationships with external payroll and systems providers, including Moorepay, Crown, and Concur. * Support internal and external reporting requirements, including audit requests, ensuring deadlines are met accurately and efficiently. * Encourage continuous improvement across payroll processes, systems, and ways of working to enhance service delivery. * Foster a supportive team environment by promoting learning, development, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.

Who You Are:* You have significant payroll experience, including a strong understanding of current UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements. * You hold a CIPP payroll qualification or bring equivalent relevant experience and expertise. * You are comfortable building positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners, working collaboratively to achieve shared goals. * You have experience supporting, coaching, or developing team members and enjoy helping others succeed. * You are confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, including advanced functions such as PivotTables and lookups. * You can analyse information, manage competing priorities, and contribute to effective decision-making and continuous improvement. * Knowledge of Microsoft Query (SQL) or similar reporting tools would be beneficial but is not essential.
