Job Description:
Full time Payroll \& HR Administrator
The company is a family run business in the gaming, bingo and properties business based in Tamworth Staffs.
You will be working as part of a small team and will be reporting directly to the Company Accountant.
Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not exclusively: -
Payroll
· Owning the end to end process of a 4 weekly and monthly payroll consisting of approx. 180 plus employees on the Brightpay payroll system, which runs alongside a Rotacloud clocking on system
· Processing starters and leavers including dealing with P45/P46, changes to hours, pay and deductions and holiday calculations
· Dealing with all statutory payments including SMP, SSP and attachment of earnings, compliance with HMRC regulations and guidelines
· Dealing with pension contributions, including reconciliation to pension payments
· Monthly and year end processing of payment of tax and NI. contributions.
· Dealing with all aspects of auto enrolment and RTI.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal processes
HR
· Day to day HR administration and dealing with HR issues as they arise including providing guidance and information to senior management and liaising with our HR advisors in respect of disciplinary, grievance and capability in conjunction with the Operational Management
· Laise with managers to respond to payroll queries professionally and confidentially
· Ensuring that company complies with all legal requirements relating to employment and pay.
. Control the issuing of contracts and employee documentation
Maintain accurate HR records and systems
About You
This position would suit a person with experience in a similar situation who has a good working knowledge of end to end payroll, HR administration and employment law
You will need to have good attention to detail and can work well on your own initiative. Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
Be confident in handling confidential and sensitive information
Clear and professional communication skills
You will need a good working knowledge of Excel
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
