Job Title: Pastry Chef de Partie

Job Description:

The Pastry Chef de Partie is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality pastries, cakes, desserts, and bakery products according to company standards. The role includes maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, managing daily pastry production, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. The Pastry Chef de Partie will work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to support smooth kitchen operations and assist in training junior staff when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce pastries, cakes, desserts, and bakery items.
  • Ensure product quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
  • Follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the pastry section.
  • Monitor inventory and report stock requirements.
  • Assist in training and supervising junior pastry staff.
  • Ensure efficient use of ingredients and minimize wastage.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role.
  • Knowledge of pastry, bakery, and dessert production.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

Pay: Up to KD300.000 per month
