Job Description

Silver Touches Auto Garage is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor \& Purchaser to join our team in Sharjah.

The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating spare parts for workshop jobs. This includes identifying correct parts using VIN/chassis number, comparing genuine, OEM, aftermarket, and used parts options, visiting supplier shops and used parts yards, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to avoid workshop delays.

The ideal candidate must be fast, accurate, honest, organized, and able to work under pressure in a busy garage environment.

Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase automotive spare parts, consumables, tools, and workshop materials.
  • Visit supplier shops, scrap yards, and used parts markets to find required parts.
  • Identify correct parts using VIN/chassis number, part numbers, catalogues, and supplier systems.
  • Compare genuine, OEM, aftermarket, and used parts options.
  • Check used parts for condition, compatibility, damage, warranty, and return possibility.
  • Negotiate prices, delivery time, warranty, and return terms with suppliers.
  • Prepare accurate parts quotations for workshop jobs.
  • Coordinate with technicians and service team to confirm required parts before ordering.
  • Track ordered parts and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
  • Receive, check, label, and organize incoming parts.
  • Maintain inventory records and assist with stock checking.
  • Process supplier invoices, returns, warranty claims, and credits.
  • Update the team regarding parts availability, delays, and alternative options.
  • Assist with job card updates and parts-related coordination when required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Purchaser, Parts Sales Executive, Spare Parts Coordinator, or Used Parts Purchaser.
  • UAE automotive spare parts experience is required.
  • UAE driving license is required.
  • Experience visiting supplier yards, scrap yards, and used parts markets is required.
  • Mercedes-Benz / BMW / Audi / European vehicle parts knowledge is an advantage.
  • Ability to identify parts accurately using VIN/chassis number.
  • Strong supplier network or ability to build supplier contacts quickly.
  • Good knowledge of genuine, OEM, aftermarket, and used parts.
  • Strong negotiation and price comparison skills.
  • Basic computer skills and Excel knowledge.
  • Workshop software / ERP experience is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Hindi and Arabic are an advantage.
  • Must be honest, organized, fast, accurate, and able to work under pressure.

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
