The Part-Time Retail Assistant is responsible for assisting customers, processing sales transactions, replenishing stock, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the store. The role requires a friendly attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts.
1. Customer Service
- Greet customers and provide friendly assistance.
- Answer product enquiries and provide recommendations.
- Assist customers in locating products.
- Handle customer requests politely and professionally.
2. Sales Support
- Promote current promotions and special offers.
- Assist in achieving daily sales targets.
- Upsell and cross-sell products where appropriate.
3. Cashier Duties
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Process cash, card, and e-wallet payments.
- Issue receipts and handle basic refund or exchange requests according to company policy.
4. Stock \& Store Operations
- Replenish merchandise on shelves and display areas.
- Arrange products neatly according to store standards.
- Assist in receiving and unpacking stock deliveries.
- Participate in stock counts when required.
5. Housekeeping
- Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor and cashier area.
- Ensure fitting rooms and display areas are tidy.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
Pay: RM14.00 per hour
