Job Description

The Part-Time Retail Assistant is responsible for assisting customers, processing sales transactions, replenishing stock, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the store. The role requires a friendly attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts.

1. Customer Service

  • Greet customers and provide friendly assistance.
  • Answer product enquiries and provide recommendations.
  • Assist customers in locating products.
  • Handle customer requests politely and professionally.

2. Sales Support

  • Promote current promotions and special offers.
  • Assist in achieving daily sales targets.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products where appropriate.

3. Cashier Duties

  • Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system.
  • Process cash, card, and e-wallet payments.
  • Issue receipts and handle basic refund or exchange requests according to company policy.

4. Stock \& Store Operations

  • Replenish merchandise on shelves and display areas.
  • Arrange products neatly according to store standards.
  • Assist in receiving and unpacking stock deliveries.
  • Participate in stock counts when required.

5. Housekeeping

  • Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor and cashier area.
  • Ensure fitting rooms and display areas are tidy.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.

Pay: RM14.00 per hour
