Description of the delivery mode (Bimodal): This approach is a combination of two distinct real-time (synchronous) teaching spaces. One physical space in a classroom on campus where a professor is there with a reduced number of students and a second virtual space using a videoconferencing technology (Zoom or MS Teams) for students who choose to take the course remotely.

Course description : Exploration of procedures for conflict management and resolution, using a system approach to understand and explain complex problems. Analysis of systems to identify their strengths and limitations in different contexts. Proposals for improving existing systems and creating new ones will be evaluated .

Required experience and qualifications:

  • A doctorate or equivalent training in the discipline or a related field.
  • Expertise in conflict management and conflict resolution, including systems and procedures;
  • Expertise in analyzing and assessing conflict management and resolution systems, proposing improvements, and redesigning such systems.
  • Practical experience in the field of conflict management and resolution.
  • Passive proficiency in the second official language
  • Sensitivity to multiple differences (including abilities, genders, and cultures) and to students' concerns.
  • Proficiency with both in-person and online learning tools
