Part time au-pair/childcare support

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Part-time Au-pair/Childcare Support to assist with the daily needs of children in a warm and nurturing environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about childcare, teaching, and fostering a positive influence on young lives. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, responsible, and fluent in English. Flexibility to work part-time hours is essential, and the position is paid accordingly.

Duties

• Provide attentive childcare support, ensuring children’s safety and well-being at all times
• Assist with daily routines such as dressing, feeding, and organising activities
• Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote development and learning
• Support language development through conversation
• Accompany children on outings or to appointments as required
• Help with light household tasks
• Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social skills
• Support parents by providing reliable childcare assistance during agreed hours

Qualifications

• Previous experience in nannying, babysitting, or childcare support is essential.
• Driving licence and ability to drive children safely is preferred
• Strong teaching skills or background in early childhood education is advantageous
• Fluency in English
• Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
• Responsible, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills and a caring attitude towards children’s needs

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
