Owner driver multi drop delivery

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated areas. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Duties

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle, including lorries or vans, to deliver goods across multiple destinations within specified timeframes
• Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured correctly during transit
• Follow planned delivery routes accurately and efficiently, adapting to any route changes as needed
• Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any queries or concerns
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock organisation and heavy lifting when required
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly for repairs or servicing

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record; appropriate category licence for the vehicle type (e.g., LGV or HGV licence) is desirable
• Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and team members
• Organised with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise deliveries accordingly
• Physical fitness to handle long periods of driving and manual handling tasks

Pay: £150.00-£170.00 per day
