Position Overview:
The Outdoor Sales Executive is responsible for growing IGL Coatings presence in Malaysia by securing, developing, and supporting car detailers, installers, resellers, workshops, and automotive businesses.
This role requires someone who is comfortable going out to the market, meeting business owners, presenting IGL products, collecting feedback, and converting prospects into active customers.
The person must be energetic, disciplined, street-smart, and able to build trust with local detailers and resellers. This is a frontline sales role, not a desk-based role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Customer Acquisition
- Identify and approach potential detailers, resellers, workshops, tint shops, PPF shops, car washes, and automotive businesses.
- Conduct field visits to introduce IGL products and understand customer needs.
- Build a list of potential customers by area, segment, and sales potential.
- Convert prospects into active IGL customers or resellers.
- Follow up consistently after visits, product demos, quotations, and sample discussions.
2. Detailer \& Reseller Development
- Build strong relationships with Malaysian detailers and resellers.
- Understand each customer’s business model, product needs, price sensitivity, and sales challenges.
- Recommend suitable IGL products based on customer type and business potential.
- Support customers with basic product knowledge, selling points, and usage guidance.
- Gather feedback on competitor products, pricing, market trends, and customer objections.
3. Sales Execution
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales activity targets.
- Track visits, prospects, quotations, samples, conversions, and repeat orders.
- Work with internal teams to support customer orders, technical questions, and product availability.
- Maintain proper customer records and follow-up status.
- Report market findings and sales progress to management.
4. Brand Representation
- Represent IGL professionally in the Malaysian automotive detailing market.
- Build trust by being honest, responsive, and technically curious.
- Avoid overclaiming product performance.
- Help position IGL as a credible Malaysian coating brand with strong product performance and support.

Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive, Engineering, or related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- 0 to 4 years of sales, field sales, customer service, automotive, detailing, or reseller development experience is preferred.
- Must be willing to travel locally for customer visits.
- Able to communicate professionally in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Interest in cars, detailing, coatings, car care, PPF, tinting, or automotive aftermarket is an advantage.
- Must have strong follow-up discipline and willingness to meet customers face-to-face.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
