Oracle HCM / ERP ArchitectJob Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM / ERP Architect to design, implement, integrate, and enhance enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Oracle Fusion HCM and/or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) HRMS, with the ability to design and support large-scale HR platforms covering employee management, payroll, self-service, workflows, integrations, and reporting.
The role will work closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, technical teams, and integration teams to translate business requirements into scalable and effective Oracle HCM solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesOracle HCM / HRMS Architecture
- Design end-to-end Oracle HCM/HRMS solutions based on business and organizational requirements.
- Define solution architecture, application components, integrations, workflows, and data flows.
- Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Assess existing HR systems and recommend enhancements, modernization, and optimization opportunities.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
HCM Functional Areas
- Design and support Oracle HCM modules and HR processes, including:
- Core HR
- Payroll
- Employee and Manager Self-Service

- Translate HR policies and business requirements into system configurations and workflows.
Oracle Fusion HCM / EBS
- Work with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and/or Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS.
- Support configuration, customization, enhancement, and implementation activities.
- Review existing configurations and recommend improvements.
- Support application upgrades, releases, patches, and system enhancements.
- Ensure HCM modules operate effectively across end-to-end employee lifecycle processes.
Integration
- Design integrations between Oracle HCM and internal or external enterprise systems.
- Define integration requirements, APIs, interfaces, and data-exchange mechanisms.
- Support integration with identity management, payroll, finance, attendance, government platforms, and other enterprise applications.
- Work with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, web services, or other integration technologies where applicable.
- Ensure secure and reliable exchange of employee and HR data across systems.
Workflow \& Business Process Design
- Design and optimize HR workflows, approval processes, notifications, and business rules.
- Configure or support multi-level approval workflows based on organizational structures and HR policies.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual HR processes and improve employee experience.
- Support Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS) capabilities.
Data Migration \& Reporting
- Support HR data migration, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Define data migration and conversion requirements for Oracle HCM implementations.
- Support reporting and analytics requirements using Oracle reporting capabilities.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across HR systems.
Security \& Access Management
- Support role-based access control and security requirements within Oracle HCM.
- Define user roles, responsibilities, privileges, and data-access requirements.
- Ensure sensitive employee information is appropriately protected.
- Work with cybersecurity and IAM teams to ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
Solution Delivery \& Technical Leadership
- Participate in requirements gathering and solution-design workshops.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs.
- Provide technical and architectural guidance to developers, consultants, integration teams, and implementation partners.
- Review solution designs and implementation deliverables.
- Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-go-live activities.
- Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues.
- Maintain architecture diagrams, solution documentation, and technical specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in Oracle HCM, Oracle HRMS, Oracle ERP, or related enterprise application environments.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM and/or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) HRMS.
- Experience with key HR modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Employee Self-Service, Manager Self-Service, Absence Management, and Time \& Labor.
- Experience designing or implementing enterprise HR workflows and approval processes.
- Good understanding of HR business processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, web services, and data interfaces.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar integration technologies is an advantage.
- Experience with HR data migration and system implementation projects.
- Understanding of role-based access control and HCM application security.
- Experience preparing solution architecture, HLD, LLD, process flows, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM certification.
- Experience implementing or supporting large-scale enterprise or government HR systems.
- Experience with Oracle Payroll and complex payroll environments.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Experience with Oracle reporting and analytics tools.
- Experience integrating HCM platforms with government or external systems.
- Knowledge of localization requirements and HR/payroll processes within the GCC region.
- Experience working with large employee populations and complex organizational structures.
