Oracle ADF Application Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application support and troubleshooting for enterprise Oracle-based applications
• Investigate, analyse, and resolve complex system and application issues across multiple components
• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle ADF
• Design, write, and optimise PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and database queries
• Analyse application and database performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation and improvement
• Support and modernise legacy Oracle applications while integrating them with newer technologies and platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, infrastructure teams, database administrators, and business users
• Support deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting activities in WebLogic or equivalent middleware environments
• Participate in SDLC activities including development, testing, defect resolution, deployment, and production support
• Prepare technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge-sharing materials
• Stay updated with Oracle technologies, industry trends, and application support best practices

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports development, including triggers, built-ins, libraries, and runtime configuration
• Experience working with Oracle ADF for enterprise web application development and support
• Strong expertise in PL/SQL programming, Oracle Database schema design, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning
• Experience supporting, troubleshooting, or modernising legacy Oracle applications
• Familiarity with WebLogic or equivalent Oracle middleware technologies
• Good understanding of SDLC methodologies, Agile practices, and testing frameworks
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support activities effectively
• Good communication and collaboration skills
