British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Master Data Manager in Bucharest

This role is location‑agnostic and can be based in the UK, Romania, Malaysia, or Poland.

Your key responsibilities will include:* Ensure integrity of the GOM (Global Operating Model) is maintained through adherence to the Global (and cross functional) process and governance. * Ensure that issues with data integrity or misalignment between systems or entities are resolved by the relevant owners in a timely manner within agreed SLAs. * Ensure stakeholders are managed across all aspects of data management, including issue resolution, process optimisation and data literacy. * Lead an ongoing review of master data administration process, standards and governance. Manage a (minimum) rolling 12-month work plan of prioritised proposals to drive continuous improvement and innovation across Operations master data administration. Oversee implementation of agreed changes via the Master Data Team Leads and their Analyst reports. * As a master data knowledge expert (SME), contribute to and agree content and context on behalf of the Global Data Management Team for all global, regional and local MDM projects and drive the implementation of changes across the global master data administration environment as applicable. * Connect demand from the business functions with service team via quarterly planning mechanism, ensuring data management team has business context and prioritisation of deliverables. * Govern the Global Data Management Teams risks, SLAs, KPIs, issues, changes, dependencies regarding coordination with BAU and the numerous local, regional and global projects involving master data.

What are we looking for?* Expert level knowledge and understanding of SAP Material Master Data, Master Data processes, management, governance and controls under the Global Operating Model (GOM) and TaO. * Understanding of BAT’s supply chain processes, the Group’s products and impact of Central IT proposals/strategy on supply chain operations highly desirable. * Proven and strong influencing skills: ability to debate, engage and reason successfully with peers, sub-ordinates and senior management up to global functional level. * Highly numerate/analytical and strong attention to detail. * High degree of IT, Supply Chain and SAP systems literacy. * Strong communication/interpersonal skills - rational, logical process-driven thinking, assertive, tenacious and self-disciplined; decisive/determined decision maker, structured, planned approach to work. * Proven team management and leadership capabilities and competent and experienced in project management techniques. * Ability to deconstruct complex scenarios and review with senior collaborators in straightforward and clear messages.
