Job Scope:
Intersport Elverys is a recognised market leader and innovator in sports retail and our retail network in the Irish market now stands at 44 stores, with a fully integrated omnichannel strategy to serve the needs that today’s consumer commands. The Operations Manager will be responsible for implementing the company’s strategic plan across multiple stores in the West/Northwest region to maximise sales, improve profitability and deliver an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Store Managers by developing a high-performance culture centred on delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Drive change and the need to adapt to the constantly changing retail environment in line with the company’s strategic plan.
- Deliver consistently high standards ensure 100% compliance across all areas, including but not limited to, Customer Experience, Visual Merchandising, Team Management, Stock/Financial Management and Cost Control.
- Deliver on business KPIs by working closely with Operations, Sales Support and HR Teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve standards, reduce costs and simplify processes.
- Support the business’ sustainability Impact Strategy.
- Undertake additional activities as required to support the business in the achievement of its key performance metrics.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- 5+ year's experience within senior Retail Management or Regional Management.
- Proven ability to manage multi-site environments.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Proven people management leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team.
- Fluent English with effective communication skills.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Flexibility to travel from site to site.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Knowledge of BC/LSPOS and SAP an advantage.
