Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee transport, warehousing, and depot operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of freight across regional and interstate networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily transport, warehousing, and depot operations
• Manage drivers, dispatch, fleet coordinators, and warehouse teams
• Ensure on-time delivery performance, especially for refrigerated freight
• Monitor routes, fuel usage, and operational efficiency
• Coordinate interstate and regional freight movements
• Manage customer accounts and service performance
• Ensure compliance with WHS, Heavy Vehicle Regulations, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
• Handle operational escalations (delays, breakdowns, freight issues)
• Work with depot and maintenance teams to optimise fleet performance
• Drive continuous improvement in logistics and service delivery

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain operations
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Solid understanding of freight compliance and WHS standards
• Ability to manage KPIs, budgets, and operational performance
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability under pressure
• Excellent communication and coordination skills

Pay: From $9,500.00 per month
