O\&MContractor\&ContractManagement
- Lead the tendering, evaluation, and selection process for O\&M contractors, service providers, and specialized subcontractors.
- Review, negotiate, and finalize O\&M contracts, Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), and maintenance scopes of work on behalf of the Owner.
- Monitor contractor performance against KPIs, SLAs, availability guarantees, and response-time commitments; apply bonus/penalty (liquidated damages) provisions where applicable.
- Conduct periodic contract compliance audits and manage contract renewals, amendments, and close-outs.
- Act as the primary point of escalation between the Owner and O\&M/EPC contractors for technical and commercial disputes.
SiteEngineering\&PersonnelOversight
- Directly manage and supervise O\&M site engineers, supervisors, and technical staff across solar, wind, and substation sites.
- Set performance objectives, review work plans, and ensure adequate staffing and competency levels at each site.
- Oversee shift planning, on-call/emergency response rosters, and coordination between multiple site teams.
- Approve site engineers' maintenance schedules, permits-to-work, and outage/switching plans in coordination with grid operators.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to site teams; identify training and certification needs.
SpareParts,Inventory\&WarrantyManagement
- Oversee procurement, storage, and logistics of spare parts to minimize downtime and avoid overstocking.
Track equipment warranties (OEM and contractor-provided) and ensure timely warranty claims are filed, followed up, and closed with suppliers/manufacturers.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering (Master's degree or MBA an advantage).
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in O\&M or asset management of utility-scale power generation or transmission assets, with at least 3–5 years covering solar and/or wind facilities.
Demonstrated experience managing O\&M/EPC contractors, LTSAs, and substation/HV assets from an Owner's perspective.
Strong understanding of PV and wind turbine technology, HV substation equipment, protection systems, and grid codes.
Experience with CMMS/APM software, SCADA platforms, and contract/warranty management systems.
Professional Engineer (PE) license, PMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
