Fully online courses and once a week two-hour sessions. There is a contract, which renews annually. Positions Available:

• U.S. History and Government Teacher (High School-APUSH Level)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs
• Utilize learning management systems (LMS) to organize coursework, track student progress, and facilitate online learning components
• Focus and cultivation of deep, profound, and lifelong appreciation for America's Founders, the American Revolutionary War, Founding Principles, and the Constitution.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with diverse learning styles and special education requirements
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
• Prepare students for standardized testing through targeted practice and review sessions
• Incorporate educational technology tools to enhance instruction and student engagement

Skills

• Strong knowledge of subject matter including America's Founders, the American Revolutionary War, Founding Principles, and the Constitution appropriate for the assigned grade level
• Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse learners
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and integrating learning technology into daily instruction
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in classroom management
• Experience working with students with disabilities or special education needs
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations including standardized testing
• Proven classroom experience is a plus

Writing skills necessary for creating clear instructional materials and assessments

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
