Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised GCSE Science and Maths lessons via online platforms, ensuring content is accessible and engaging.
• Assess students’ current understanding and adapt teaching methods accordingly to maximise learning outcomes.
• Provide clear explanations of complex concepts, supporting students with their coursework and exam preparation.
• Monitor progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
• Develop customised lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements and individual student needs.
• Maintain organised records of sessions, student progress, and areas for improvement.
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages questions, curiosity, and confidence-building in learners.
• Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns or special educational needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE Science and Maths, preferably in an online setting.
• Strong knowledge of GCSE curriculum standards for Science and Maths subjects.
• Experience working with children or in special education environments is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.
