Online Academic Tutor (KS1–KS4)

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Online Academic Tutors to support students from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. This role involves delivering personalised tutoring sessions via an online platform, helping pupils achieve their academic goals across a range of subjects. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and experience working with children or in special education settings. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and tailored online tutoring sessions to students across KS1–KS4 levels.
• Assess individual student needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly to maximise understanding and progress.
• Support students in developing key skills, confidence, and motivation in various subjects.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and areas for improvement.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student performance and development.
• Utilise digital tools and resources to create interactive and stimulating learning experiences.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, curiosity, and active participation.

Experience

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching children across primary and secondary school levels.
• Knowledge of curriculum requirements for KS1–KS4 subjects.
• Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Prior experience with online teaching platforms or digital educational tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
