Alia National School \& Alia Autism Center in Bahrain is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team supporting children and young adults with autism and developmental needs.
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative environment alongside educators, behavior analysts, and therapists to deliver individualized, evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities:* Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. * Deliver therapy sessions focusing on sensory integration, fine motor skills, daily living skills, and self-regulation. * Support students with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions in school and therapy settings. * Collaborate with teachers, ABA therapists, and parents to ensure consistency of interventions. * Develop and implement sensory diets and classroom strategies. * Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and progress tracking. * Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting.
Candidate Requirements:* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. * Licensed/eligible for licensing in Bahrain (NHRA preferred). * Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pediatrics or working with autism. * Experience in sensory integration and school-based therapy preferred. * Strong understanding of autism, behavior management, and inclusive practices. * Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. * Good communication skills with families and professionals.
