Occupational Therapist Full Time

Treats inpatient, outpatient. Conducting physical and psychological assessments of patients and developing or following a treatment plan. Assessing home and work environments of patients and deciding what adjustments are needed.

Advising on adaptive equipment to help patients with daily activities.

Returns any machine used in treatment room to its proper place by department Rehabilitation Aide. Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost skills.

Educating caregivers and family members of patients on patient care.

Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy on patients.

Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide

Patient with the best treatment program available.

Evaluating patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health.

• Available for an on call treatment of patients.
• Implements appropriate policies and procedures to achieve the hospital's goals and objectives in pursuit of Standards of Care, quality performance improvement.

Performs other duties within the range of his/her professional knowledge and skills as directed by the Head of Physiotherapy.

Requirements

Essential: Good interpersonal communication skills.

Desirable: Able to speak and write Arabic and English language
