NHGD Phlebotomist

Job Responsibilities

Perform phlebotomy and electrocardiogram (ECG) in an accurate, efficient, and professional way, and assist in basic laboratory tests processing such as point of care meters

Responsible for skillful, timely, accurate, and sufficient collection of blood specimens from patients using various techniques such as venipuncture, capillary collection, and/or heel pricks as required for clinical tests

Assist in basic administrative works such as inventories management and statistic collation

Ensuring compliance with safety requirements and participating in quality improvement projects and training programs

Job Requirements

Recognized Diploma in Medical Technology, Nursing, or Certificate of Phlebotomy

Relevant experience in phlebotomy and ECG preferred

Possess good interpersonal and communication skills

Must have initiative and be able to work well in a team

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Able to work independently with minimum supervision
