NHGD Phlebotomist

• Perform phlebotomy and electrocardiogram (ECG) in an accurate, efficient, and professional way, and assist in basic laboratory tests processing such as point of care meters
• Responsible for skillful, timely, accurate, and sufficient collection of blood specimens from patients using various techniques such as venipuncture, capillary collection, and/or heel pricks as required for clinical tests
• Assist in basic administrative works such as inventories management and statistic collation
• Ensuring compliance with safety requirements and participating in quality improvement projects and training programs

Job Requirements

• Recognized Diploma in Medical Technology, Nursing, or Certificate of Phlebotomy
• Relevant experience in phlebotomy and ECG preferred
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must have initiative and be able to work well in a team
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
