Network Engineer

Seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Engineer that will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure. This role requires a proactive professional with strong technical expertise in Cisco, HP networking, Fortinet devices, and Citrix NetScaler load balancing, coupled with relevant certifications and a solid understanding of network security protocols. The candidate must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to branches and remote datacenter locations as needed. The role also requires availability for 24/7 on-call support to ensure business continuity.Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure.Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.Troubleshoot network issues, outages, and perform root cause analysis.Maintain network security by enforcing policies and applying updates/patches.Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, access points, and load balancers.Implement and manage Load Balancers to optimize application delivery and performance.Conduct routine visits to branches and remote datacenters for maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.Collaborate with other IT team members on network-related projects and improvements.Document network configurations, processes, and policies.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.Be available for 24/7 on-call support to address urgent issues outside normal working hours.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.Certifications:Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)CompTIA Security+Experience:Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a network engineering or similar IT infrastructure role.Technical Skills:In-depth knowledge of Cisco and HP, Fortinet, and Citrix networking equipment.Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security best practices.
