Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Network Data Administrator with strong expertise in Cisco Routing \& Switching and Data Center Networking. The role will be responsible for managing enterprise network infrastructure, supporting Cisco ACI environments, troubleshooting complex network issues, and contributing to network transformation and improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support enterprise production network environments.
  • Provide Level 3 technical support for complex network incidents and service requests.
  • Support Data Center Network operations for business-critical applications.
  • Perform troubleshooting, incident analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Participate in network changes, migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Assess technical risks and provide recommendations during network changes.
  • Support capacity planning, reporting, and network performance monitoring.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and reports.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders for service improvement initiatives.
  • Support transition activities and knowledge transfer during infrastructure changes.
  • Participate in technical discussions and provide recommendations for network enhancements.

Technical Skills RequiredCisco Routing \& Switching

  • Strong experience in Cisco enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Data Center networking.
  • Experience in configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting of:
  • Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP)
  • VLAN, STP, VTP
  • EtherChannel
  • VRF
  • First Hop Redundancy Protocols
  • QoS configurations
  • NAT and DHCP services
  • Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching technologies.
  • Experience with IP address design and network optimization.

Cisco ACI

  • Experience implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco ACI environments.
  • Understanding of:
  • ACI Fabric architecture
  • Tenant and traffic flow concepts
  • Contracts and policies
  • L2 Out and L3 Out configurations
  • VMM integration
  • Experience supporting migration from traditional Data Center networks to Cisco ACI.
  • Ability to troubleshoot routing, traffic flow, and policy-related issues.
  • Knowledge of integrating network services such as firewalls and application delivery controllers with ACI environments.

Data Center \& Network Technologies

  • Experience supporting enterprise Data Center network environments.
  • Knowledge of:
  • Cisco Nexus platforms
  • Wireless controllers and access points
  • DNS, DHCP, and NTP services
  • Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Experience with network optimization solutions such as Riverbed or similar technologies.

Additional Technical Skills (Preferred)

  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies such as:
  • Cisco Viptela
  • VeloCloud
  • Silver Peak
  • CloudGenix
  • Knowledge of SDN concepts and NSX-T.
  • Experience supporting network security technologies including firewalls.
  • Wireless network design and implementation experience.

Process \& Tools

  • Experience with incident, change, and problem management processes.
  • Experience in remote system administration.
  • Knowledge of network automation and scripting for operational improvements.
  • Experience with configuration management and capacity planning.
  • Vendor coordination experience is preferred.
