Job Title: Network Engineer (Contract Hire)Location: Kuwait (Onsite)Employment Type: Contract HireJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer to be based in Kuwait on a contract hire basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, deployment, optimization, and administration of high performance, low latency enterprise networks in a complex, mixed vendor environment. This role requires deep hands on expertise in advanced routing technologies and enterprise scale network infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and maintain high performance, low latency enterprise network infrastructuresLead network architecture design for complex, multisite environmentsImplement and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols in mixed environments:OSPFBGPISISPerform network optimization, capacity planning, and performance tuningEnsure high availability, resilience, and security of network servicesDiagnose and resolve complex network issues at L2/L3 levelsCollaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams during project deliveryProduce and maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and standardsSupport network migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh initiativesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers where requiredEnsure compliance with enterprise IT policies, standards, and best practicesExperienceMandatory Requirements (Must Have)Minimum 10+ years of hands on experience in network administration and engineeringProven experience designing and deploying enterprise scale, high performance networksEducationBachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:Information TechnologyInformation SystemsComputer ScienceCommunications EngineeringOr a closely related disciplineCertificationsValid CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certification (mandatory)Technical ExpertiseStrong, hands on knowledge of:Advanced routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, ISISEnterprise routing and switching environmentsNetwork performance optimization and low latency design principlesExperience working in mixed vendor network environmentsNice to Have (Advantageous)Experience in service provider or large enterprise environmentsExposure to data center networking and high availability architecturesKnowledge of network security concepts and integration with security platformsExperience supporting mission critical or 24/7 operational networksPrior experience working in the Middle East regionSoft Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently in a contract based roleExcellent documentation and communication skillsProactive, detail oriented, and solution focused mindsetAbility to perform under pressure in complex operational environments
