Job Description

Job duties include but are not limited to:

The function is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining an organization's computer networks and operating systems (Windows + Linux). This function also includes to ensure the availability, performance, and security of network infrastructure while providing technical support to resolve network-related and end-user issues. Network Administration:* Install, configure, and maintain network appliances, including switches, firewalls, and access points. * Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person. * Evaluates and proposes technical security solutions and technologies by working with vendors and other support teams * Assist with user account management in Windows Active Directory, permissions, and access control. * Diagnose and resolve software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers * Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and incidents. * Handles all the management of mail servers, SAN storage and Load balancers * Manages the VPN + point-to-point connections and coordinate with service providers * Resolves process related issues to provided services * Manage server's backup * Perform regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure network performance and security. * Effective communication skills are also crucial for interacting with team members and non-technical staff. * Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers * Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Linux. * Write and maintain scripts for system maintenance, automation of tasks, and integration of systems.

Required Qualification: * Bachelor's degree in computer science. * Certification in Networking is required (CCNA and MCSE) is an added value. * Linux certifications (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) is an added value. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in Network admin role.

Required Professional Skills: * Network configuration and management * Strong knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, and security. * Router, switch, firewall, and access point setup * TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN knowledge * Windows Server and Linux/Unix administration * Active Directory and Group Policy management * Network monitoring and performance tuning * Troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues * Network security implementation (firewalls, IDS/IPS) * Backup and disaster recovery planning * Technical support and helpdesk experience * Documentation and reporting * Understanding of compliance and IT policies * Project and time management skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving ability * Communication and teamwork * Knowledge of cloud networking (e.g., Azure, AWS) * Familiarity with ITIL processes (optional) * Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
