The Role

Every successful customer solution begins with a competitive, sustainable, and well-structured pricing strategy. As a National Road Logistics Tender \& Pricing Manager, you'll be at the centre of shaping how Kuehne+Nagel designs, delivers, and wins road logistics opportunities across multiple markets.

You'll combine commercial insight with analytical expertise to develop competitive pricing solutions that support growth while maintaining profitability. From managing strategic tenders and multi-country RFQs to improving pricing processes and governance, you'll play a key role in ensuring our road logistics offerings remain scalable, transparent, and aligned with business objectives.

This position is not just about pricing; it's about creating long-term value for customers and the business, aligning commercial competitiveness with operational realities, and contributing to the growth of our national and cross-border road logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive pricing excellence: Develop and implement pricing frameworks that promote consistency, governance, and profitability across road logistics operations.
• Strengthen commercial performance: Lead the coordination of strategic tenders and multi-country RFQs, ensuring competitive pricing solutions that support customer growth and business success.
• Deliver solutions: Design and maintain pricing methodologies, costing structures, and standardized pricing models that balance customer requirements with commercial objectives.
• Collaborate internally: Work closely with country pricing teams, Procurement, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Key Account stakeholders to deliver aligned and sustainable pricing outcomes.
• Achieve business objectives: Support growth initiatives through effective tender management, margin optimisation, and strategic customer pursuits while maintaining pricing discipline.
• Market insight: Analyse vendor costs, pricing trends, corridor performance, and market dynamics to support informed commercial decision-making.
• Customer excellence: Ensure pricing solutions are delivered accurately, efficiently, and transparently while supporting high-quality customer proposals and timely RFQ submissions.

Requirements

• Strong experience in pricing, tender management, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of road logistics, cross-border transportation, and supply chain solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with pricing models, costing structures, and commercial data.
• Ability to manage complex multi-country RFQs, tenders, and pricing initiatives.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to balance competitiveness and profitability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration capabilities.
• Confident decision-maker who can manage ambiguity and competing priorities.
• Strong business judgement and integrity.
