As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. You will be part of our Contract Logistics team adding your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Customer + Operational Excellence.

How you create impact

Your primary objective will be to oversee all operational activities across multiple sites that vary in size + complexity, in order to achieve all agreed financial + operational objectives. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders. Your scope may include distribution activities depending on the location.

What we would like you to bring

The activities needed to deliver these objectives include:

• To ensure your site management teams deliver against their customer, site + people key performance indicators (KPI).
• To act as the Site Manager for locations within your scope as + when required.
• To drive all activities relating to customer on-boarding, operational excellence, + customer retention in collaboration with your center of excellence peers + teams.
• To drive productivity via engagement activities to create new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement at all times, ensuring all sites meet or exceed their productivity targets.
• To contribute information required for tenders/proposals to support closing of new business.
• To ensure that everyone involved in distribution activities deliver the right transport solutions.
