Position Overview
Seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Nanny with a strong background in infant care and a nursing degree. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience caring for babies aged 0–2 years and brings a deep understanding of early childhood development, health, safety, and nurturing routines. This role requires someone attentive, patient, and confident in supporting both the child and the family.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for infants aged 0–2 years
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
- Manage feeding routines, including bottle preparation, breastfeeding support, and introduction to solids
- Oversee nap schedules and sleep‑training routines as directed by parents
- Monitor developmental milestones and engage the child in age‑appropriate sensory and motor activities
- Handle diaper changes, bathing, and daily hygiene
- Administer basic first aid when needed and monitor for signs of illness or discomfort
- Maintain detailed daily logs of feeding, sleeping, activities, and any health observations
- Support parents with guidance rooted in professional nursing knowledge
- Assist with light household tasks related to the child (laundry, bottle sterilization, nursery organization).
Qualifications
- Nursing degree (Registered Nurse, Practical Nurse, or equivalent).
- Proven experience caring for infants aged 0–2 years.
- Strong understanding of infant development, safety protocols, and health monitoring.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Warm, patient, and nurturing personality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
- Flexible with the work schedule.
