Part-Time Nanny \| Lane Cove, NSW

A warm and loving family based in Lane Cove, NSW is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and reliable nanny to care for their two children aged 2 and 5 years.
The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and will become a positive and valued part of their household. Their ideal nanny will bring warmth, laughter, creativity, and a playful approach to each day, while also providing gentle guidance and dependable support to help the home run smoothly.Days Hours
4 days per week
- Monday: 7:30am 10:30am
- Tuesday: 7:30am 10:30am
- Wednesday: 7:30am 10.30am (longer day can be considered for the right candidate)
- Thursday: 7:30am 6:00pm
Typical Day
On the shorter morning shifts, the role will involve assisting with the children s morning routine, preparing them for preschool and daycare, completing drop-offs, and helping with light household tasks or meal preparation once the children have left.
On the longer day/s, the nanny will enjoy spending quality time with the children through play, outings, and engaging age-appropriate activities that encourage their learning, creativity, and development. The family also has an adorable 4-month-old puppy, who will appreciate a daily walk as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
The nanny s responsibilities will include:
- Providing attentive and nurturing care while following the children s routines
- Planning and engaging in fun, age-appropriate activities to support learning and development
- Preschool and daycare drop-offs as required
- Preparing simple, nutritious meals and snacks for the children
- Walking the family puppy
- Assisting with light household duties to help keep the home running smoothly, including:
- Tidying up after breakfast
- Washing and folding the children s laundry
- Keeping the children s bedrooms and play areas tidy
- Light meal preparation for the children

Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience working as a nanny, with proven long-term nanny experience
- Childcare qualifications preferred
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to update)
- Current Working With Children Check
- Full driver s licence essential (family vehicle available for use)
