Cleary Nissan are the longest established Nissan Dealer in the West of Ireland. We are now looking for an experienced Motor Technician to join our team. The role will involve the servicing, maintenance and repair of customers vehicles, Cars, LCV's and EV's to a high standard in line with Nissan guidelines.

The ideal candidate will:
- Be fully qualified as a Motor mechanic, ideally working in a franchise environment, but not essential.
- Will be capable of producing quality work in a busy fast paced environment.
- Candidates will be comfortable working in a team environment as well as having the ability to work on their own initiative.
- Used to working in an environment where quality, efficiency and productivity are important.
- Be diligent, with a flexible approach to work.
- Hold a full, valid and current drivers' licence
- Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Through the use of diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach, ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified.
- To service & repair vehicles in accordance with Nissan guidelines and dealership quality standards.
- Completing work as outlined on the job card with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Nissan standards.
- Complete relevant service documentation and written reports (Job sheets, PDI's, service reports) in line with warranty and Dealer requirements.
- Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
- Examining the vehicle and performing vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Notifying service advisors immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
Ongoing training, both online and at the Nissan Training Centre will be part of this role.
