We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic / Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in motor vehicles
• Carrying out logbook servicing, oil changes and general vehicle maintenance
• Repairing and replacing brakes, suspension, steering and cooling system components
• Diagnosing engine, transmission and drivability issues
• Using diagnostic scan tools and workshop equipment
• Replacing batteries, filters, belts, hoses and other vehicle parts
• Conducting safety checks and road tests
• Providing clear repair recommendations to the workshop manager
• Maintaining accurate job records and repair notes
• Keeping the workshop clean, safe and organised
• Following workplace health and safety procedures

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• Relevant qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs
• Experience working on Japanese, European, Chinese and Korean vehicles is preferred
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current driver’s licence preferred
• Good communication skills

Pay: $76,516.00 – $90,000.00 per year
