We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Motel Manager to oversee daily operations at our property in. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of hospitality management. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, managing budgets, and maintaining high standards of service. The Motel Manager will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment for guests while efficiently managing the motel’s operations to meet business goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily motel operations, including front desk activities, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding guest services and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain existing clientele.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and staff performance.
- Train and supervise staff members in customer service standards, phone etiquette, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with human resources on hiring, training, and evaluating team members.
Skills
- Multilingual or Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests and staff.
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Previous hotel experience is preferred to understand industry standards and operations.
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing and team management.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
- Proficiency in front desk operations, including reservation systems and phone etiquette.
- Budgeting skills to manage operational costs efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with guests, staff, and vendors.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
