Mobile Plant Technician/Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Plant Technician/Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment according to manufacturers' specifications. Our company prioritizes safety, so the ideal candidate must have a strong commitment to following safety protocols and procedures. This role will involve both fieldwork and onsite duties in our workshop.

Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of electrical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Repairing and maintaining equipment per manufacturers' specifications
• Keeping accurate service records for all equipment
• Providing on-site service and repairs to customers as needed
• Collaborating on large overhauls and commissions with other team members
• Performing general workshop maintenance and cleaning tasks
• Completing safety duties such as job inspections, task planning, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)

Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology/Diesel Mechanics
• Relevant certifications/licenses (e.g., driver's license, high-risk forklift)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic
• Commitment to following all safety protocols
