Job Summary:
We are looking for skilled Mobile Banking Testers to ensure the quality, stability, and security of mobile banking applications across Android and iOS platforms. The role involves end-to-end testing of mobile banking features, defect management, data validation, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse business and functional requirements and create test cases, test plans, and test strategies for mobile banking features such as login, bill payments, and fund transfers.
- Perform manual and automation testing including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Test mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms .
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect/test management tools until closure.
- Perform database testing and data validation using SQL queries.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Provide daily test status reports , defect metrics, and analysis.
- Test applications across multiple devices, OS versions, screen sizes , and network conditions (Wi-Fi, mobile data, low network).
Required Skills \& Experience:
- 5 -7 years of experience in mobile application testing , preferably in the banking domain .
- Strong experience in manual testing (functional, regression, integration).
- Exposure to automation testing tools/frameworks is an added advantage.
- Experience testing Android and iOS applications .
- Good knowledge of banking features like login, payments, bill pay, and transaction flows.
- Hands-on experience with defect management tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries for backend/data validation.
- Understanding of mobile-specific testing challenges (devices, OS, network variability).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments .
- Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
